Online Shopping vs. Home Shopping
Why Zillow Doesn’t Have an “Add to Cart” Button
We’ve all been there: coffee in hand, scrolling through Amazon or Target. See something you like? Point. Click. Done. Two days later it’s on your doorstep. And if it’s not quite right? Back it goes. Free returns, no questions asked.
But shopping for a home online? Totally different story.
Morning coffee and Zillow scrolling might be fun, but buying a home in Central Ohio (especially in communities like Dublin, Upper Arlington, and Clintonville) takes more than an app. That’s where I come in.
Sure, Zillow and Realtor.com make it look easy. You scroll through pretty pictures, fall in love, and start to imagine your life there. But here’s the thing:
There’s no “Add to Cart” button. Saving it to your “favorites” doesn’t get you the keys.
No free returns. You can’t send a house back if it doesn’t quite fit.
It’s not one-size-fits-all. A coffee maker doesn’t ask for proof of funds, inspections, or a mountain of paperwork. Homes do.
Buying a home is one of the most exciting - and complex - purchases you’ll ever make. And unlike your Amazon order, you can’t undo it with a click.
That’s where I come in.
As your Realtor®, I’ll be your guide through the entire process. I’ll help you understand the market, spot red flags, negotiate the best deal, and navigate all the details that make a smooth closing possible. My goal is to make sure you’re confident, prepared, and protected every step of the way.
So go ahead, enjoy your Zillow scrolling sessions. Dream a little. Save your favorites. But when you’re ready to stop scrolling and start unlocking doors, let’s talk. This isn’t online shopping - it’s real life. And I’ll be right here to help you every step of the way.
