Muirfield Moment: The Clock Is Ticking on Fall Color in Muirfield Village 🍂

Fall foliage in Muirfield Village, Dublin Ohio, with reddish-brown leaves changing color and dropping.

Some trees in Muirfield Village are already turning and dropping leaves fast — this year’s color show won’t last long.

It’s already started - and it may not last long. After such a dry August and September, the trees in Muirfield Village are already shifting fast. In some spots, it looks like the leaves could skip right past peak color and go straight from green to brown. Blink, and suddenly we’ll be left with bare branches.

That makes the next few weeks our best chance to soak it all in.

Every fall, I find myself slowing down on runs and walks to admire the beauty along our 29 miles of paved paths. Some stretches glow gold like a tunnel, while others open up to sweeping golf course views. And the stretch of Memorial Drive between Muirfield Drive and Dublin Road? Hard to beat that spectacular show when the colors are at their brightest!

But this year, timing is everything. If you’ve been waiting for “peak season,” don’t — grab your phone, take a walk, and capture those moments now.

What’s your favorite stretch of path or neighborhood drive this time of year? Send me a note or tag me on social — I’d love to pull together a “reader’s choice” roundup of the best foliage views in Muirfield to share in a future post.

🍁 Let’s not miss it — this season’s color show is short but spectacular.
