Finding Community at LifeTime Dublin

I love spotlighting local businesses and communities that make Dublin such a special place to call home. And while Life Time Fitness is a big national brand, here in Dublin it feels anything but generic. Over time, it’s become a real community for me — one built on encouragement, accountability, and a whole lot of sweat equity.

Finding my lane at Life Time Dublin — the master’s swim class that started it all.

It all started when Claire Snyder suggested I try out the master’s swim class. At first, I wasn’t sure I belonged. I didn’t even really know how to swim! But I quickly realized it wasn’t just about the workout. It was about technique, support, and the kind of camaraderie that keeps you coming back. Now, I can’t imagine training for a triathlon without the confidence and skills I’ve gained in that pool.

The same is true of the run club. One friend invites another, and suddenly you’re surrounded by people who push you to go farther than you thought you could. It’s a lot like real estate in that way — referrals spark connections, and those connections become relationships that change everything.

Some of my strongest friendships have grown out of those simple invitations: “Come to class.” “Join us for a run.” “You’ll love this group.” Just like when someone refers me to a friend or neighbor in need of a Realtor®, these moments are built on trust — and they lead to something bigger than either person expected.

So, if you’ve been looking for a place to plug into a supportive, active community right here in Dublin, consider this your referral. Life Time Dublin has been more than just a gym for me — it’s been a launching pad for friendships, growth, and triathlon dreams.
