Sometimes a Casual House Hunt Turns Into “THE ONE”
They said yes to the address... with something even sweeter coming soon.
This wonderful couple came to Teresa through family members who had worked with her before, which always makes a referral feel extra special.
With their first baby on the way, they had started casually looking at homes in Dublin, Ohio. They loved their German Village home and everything that came with it: beautiful brick streets and sidewalks, coffee shops close by, and a fun, walkable urban lifestyle.
But they were also starting to think about what life might look like a few months down the road.
With a newborn on the way, they realized “nightlife” was about to take on a whole new meaning. Being close to family became more important. Room for overnight guests mattered more than proximity to coffee shops. And those charming brick walkways? Maybe not quite as charming when you start picturing pushing a stroller over them every day.
At first, the search was really more of a scouting mission. They wanted to see what was out there and get a feel for what might work someday.
Then Teresa found a house.
It was in a Dublin neighborhood they had not even considered, but Teresa and her team knew the area well and thought it could be exactly the kind of place they were looking for.
She was right.
The home had the must-haves, the nice-to-haves, and a few things they had not even realized they wanted. It offered more space, smooth neighborhood sidewalks and paths, a great location near family, and an easy commute to work.
Suddenly, the casual search was not so casual anymore.
They quickly got their ducks in a row, made an offer, and Teresa guided them through the negotiations and the rest of the purchase process.
Today, they closed on their new home, with several weeks to settle in before their newest family member arrives.
What an exciting season of life: a new home, a new neighborhood, and a brand-new baby just around the corner.
