The Goldilocks Airport (and city) That Keeps Me Moving

If I’m going to be a frequent flyer, at least I get to fly out of CMH—easy parking, short lines, and big-city connections without the big-city chaos.

When two of your daughters get engaged in the same year—and neither one lives in Columbus—you become a frequent flyer fast. I’ve been bouncing between Denver, New York, and home, helping pick dresses, touring venues, and soaking up every joyful (and whirlwind!) minute. And it’s not just the brides—the baby sister and maid of honor extraordinaire doesn’t live here anymore either!

When I am home, life’s still full in the best way. I’ve been showing homes, staging listings, negotiating offers—and soaking up sweet moments with my little grandsons in between. It’s a season of big and small celebrations, and I’m grateful for it all.

What makes it all doable? Our airport. John Glenn Columbus International (CMH) is the Goldilocks of airports—big enough for direct flights, small enough to stay stress-free. Security is quick, parking is easy, and it’s just minutes from most suburbs—including mine.

And with a major renovation underway, it’s only getting better.

In many ways, Columbus is the same: vibrant, accessible, affordable, and full of heart. If you’re thinking about relocating, it’s a city that makes life easier—and I’d love to show you why.
